Green Arrow and associates Comixology sale

Apologies for the long wait between posts.  Life has been rather busy lately.  I'm afraid I cannot give you a full review tonight, but I will point you towards another comixology sale, this time it is themed around the Arrow TV show.

Oliver Queen is known in comics as Green Arrow and I believe the TV show brings in a lot of other DC characters.  There are 166 issues in the sale, here are what I think are the best.  All links take you to the first issue in the story arc.  The sale runs for 7 days from 25th March.

Our Young Justice review has now been updated with some further reading recommendations.  If you enjoy superheroes, teenage fiction, team up books or comedy you would do well to have a look at this book.

It's a Young Adult book that's laugh out loud funny, although it has to be said a lot of the humour is rather childish.  It's a great introduction to some spectacular characters, most of which are still active today.  It's one of my favourite books and I try and push it on to as many people as I can.  I hope you enjoy it too.

What's it about?

A new team of teenage superheroes - named Young Justice - similar in concept to the Teen Titans, but from the next generation.  The line up is as follows:

Robin - Batman's third protege to bear the name.  No powers.

Superboy - Young clone of Superman with variant powers.

Impulse - A speedster from the Flash family.

Wonder Girl - Granted powers by the Greek God Zeus, her mentor is Wonder Woman.

Arrowette - Ace female archer.

Secret - A girl made out of mist.

Red Tornado - An android who acts as babysitter to the team.
